Britten's 'War Requiem' with Romaniw, Clayton and Liverman from London
BBC Proms. Britten's 'War Requiem' is a large-scale, non-liturgical setting of the Requiem Mass composed by Benjamin Britten mostly in 1961 and completed in January 1962. Performers: Natalya Romaniw, soprano, Allan Clayton, tenor, Will Liverman, baritone.
Tiffin Boys’ Choir. BBC Symphony Chorus. London Symphony Chorus. London Symphony Orchestra. Conductor: Sir Antonio Pappano.
