Händel's 'Israel in Egypt' with Arends, Peña, Mena, Boden, Recio & Cordón from Madrid

Händel's 'Israel in Egypt' is a biblical oratorio. Many historians believe the libretto was compiled by Handel's collaborator Charles Jennens, and it is composed entirely of selected passages from the Hebrew Bible, mainly from Exodus and the Psalms.

Performers: Renata Arends, soprano l, Aurora Peña, soprano ll, Carlos Mena, countertenor, Samuel Boden, tenor, Javier Recio, bass I, Carmelo Cordón, bass II.
