Saint-Saëns' 'L'ancêtre' with Ahn, Kiechle, Gastl and Grötzinger from Munich

Saint-Saëns 'L'ancêtre' is a 1905 drame lyrique in 3 acts to a libretto by Lucien Augé de Lassus. The opera premiered at the Opéra de Monte-Carlo. The plot is set in Corsica, which composer and librettist visited together looking for local colour. Performers:
